Jam, Ozuna, Sean Paul, Farruko, and Steve Aoki. It’s an 18+ festival that draws both a
Mexican crowd and plenty of Southern California residents crossing the border for the
weekend. If you’ve already got tickets (or are about to), the next question is where you’re
staying — and that’s where most bigger groups run into a problem.

Crossing the border for the festival
- Rosarito is roughly a 45-minute drive from San Diego, per the festival’s own site.
- The festival offers a “Baja Bundle” with access to the San Ysidro Ready Lane fast-track back into the US — worth looking into if you’ll be crossing more than once that weekend.
- If you’re coming from the US, you’ll need a valid passport or passport card, and Mexican auto insurance is recommended — US insurance typically doesn’t cover you in Mexico.
- Festival passes are final sale, no refunds — so it’s worth locking in your stay before you buy tickets, not after.
